My parents have this great tree in the backyard that is easy for any kid to climb. Jaxton had a great time climbing it. He thought he was quite the stuff. Gabby preferred climbing the rock, but I mad her get in the tree for a photo opp. She was a little grumpy at me after that.
Hogle Zoo. My mom and I took the kids to Hogle Zoo one day. It was great weather. But maybe a little too great. There were NO ANIMALS!!! The favorite attraction seemed to be the carousel. Even though there wasn't much to see we still had fun!
After we visited Hogle Zoo we went out to lunch with my family. We missed Dad and Melissa. Work and school called for them. We ate at California Pizza Kitchen and it was YUMMY! Jax and Megan always have such a good time together. It is like they were twins separated at birth or something. They get a little crazy together. Nate and Nicole were there which means that Nate doesn't get a free second to himself. Gabs is obsessed with him. She LOVES him to pieces and pretty much can't leave him alone as you can see from the pics.
After dinner my mom aka "super grandma" took the kids and treated them to Build-a-Bear. Megan walked in and the first Bear she saw she chose. It took Jax a few minutes to decide and then there was Gabby. The girl is such an animal lover. She could have 100 stuffed animals and still need more. She had to hold and hug every single one in there before she decided on the pink monkey which was later named "Punky" Jaxton chose a panda bear which he named "Po". Original! (If you've see Kung Fu Panda you will catch my drift). And Megan got a bear which she named "Cutie". The kids had such a great time. Thanks mom for spoiling your cute grand kids.
While we were in Utah my Aunt Kathryn had us all over to her place for a swim party. We got to see lots of cousins and had a fabulous time. Jax was missing the pool so he had a blast. She has a slide and I think Jaxton went down it over 50 times while we were there.
